About Silks & Treasures!

Silks & Treasures is located in the California House on Main Street in historic St. Charles. The California House was built in the early 1800's as the first stage coach stop west of the Mississippi enroute to California.

The previous owner retired and we attained our dream of a gift shop. .We were blessed that 2 of the previous employees;  Terri and Pat, are continuing to serve you with the excellent customer service that they have always given. Donna and Phylis will continue to fill in occasionally, especially during the Christmas season. We look forward to doing business with you in the shop and on our website.
